Board of Elders

    • The Board of Elders are to assist the Pastor in every way they possibly can. It is impossible for a Pastor whose schedule is busy, to get around to every member of his congregation, especially when the membership is in the hundreds. The Elders are to assist the Pastor in visiting the sick, serving communion to the shut-ins, and preaching in the Pastor's absence.

Elders are not to receive tithing until they have become Pastors of a congregation. When the tithing or offering has reached more than that which is necessary to care for the minister, then it should be used for other things pertaining to the services of the house of God.
